HI CHERYL, You did a SPECTACULAR JOB on my quilts, the rose buds on the "Walk Among The Roses" is a nice touch & the special attention you paid to the backgrounds on the "Snowmen" is GREAT. I do think the pansies on the "Hankie Boxes" are EXTRA SPECIAL. I APPRECIATE THE THOUGHTFULNESS YOU PUT INTO YOUR QUILTING, I KNOW I CAN ALWAYS COUNT ON LOVELY WORK FROM YOU. BEST REGARDS, SANDRA, November, 2011 |
Cheryl, I got my quilt.
I LOVE it!! you did a great job on it!! Know my brother will be
pleased. I knew an Oklahoma resident quilting would make it
perfect for OU!!!!!!

QUILTING
If you're looking for EXPERIENCED HAND-GUIDED MACHINE QUILTING (since 1978) or SPECIALIZED STATLER STITCHED QUILTING , we provide a professional service at a very reasonable price. Repetitive patterns are generally quilted over the entire quilt top; however, the borders can be quilted with a different pattern if you choose. Our goal is to complete your quilt according to your wishes. At your request, we will also finish the edges of your quilt so it will be ready to use. We'll be glad to discuss design wishes, batting choices, and prices to create your one of a kind heirloom treasure.
Custom quilting includes outline quilting, stippling, block by block quilting to name a few choices. Other styles are available including fabulous feathers of all sizes and styles.
Border quilting can be a different design used only on the borders, feathered scrolls, leaves, or any other pattern you like can be used.
With several different batting and quilting options available, we're sure we can provide a top quality service with quick turn around.
Quilting tips: hand guided quilting is not computerized, it is hand guided, resulting in some variance in repetitive patterns.
Specialized Statler Stitched Quilting is computerized allowing us to provide you with the best possible quilting available with precision stitching throughout your quilt.
Every effort is made to clip and trim threads, but occasionally we'll miss one, so please check your quilt.

Occasionally I have inquires about DOUBLE KNIT TOPS AND RECYCLED BLUE JEAN TOPS. I know these fabrics will out last me, but unfortunately, they have been an extremely expensive disaster on my quilting machine; therefore, we are no longer able to quilt them.
Your quilt is important to us and we take pride in the quality of our work! We can assure you that throughout the process of quilting and finishing your treasured quilt top, we will dedicate our time and effort to make it a beautiful quilt that you will be proud to display in your home or give as a gift or family heirloom.
Rest assured that your quilt will be handled with tender loving care in a smoke-free environment.
We have many, many quilt patterns on hand. We can custom design borders and block insets. We study the current styles and periodically attend training classes to update our skills. To keep updated with the popular trends in quilting, we also subscribe to several periodical publications.
PREPARING YOUR QUILT FOR MACHINE QUILTING
* You do not need to baste or pin your
quilt.
* Press the quilt top and backing
* If you are mailing the batting,
please prepare the batting as necessary per mfg. instructions.
BINDING
All of the binding is completely machine stitched.
We make
a double binding and then sew the binding to the front of the quilt. We
then fold the binding over to the back and finish stitching from the back. The binding
can also be sewn on the front of the quilt for you to hand-finish.
THREAD
We can use white or natural thread on your quilt.
We also
have a large selection of colors and can try to match the color of your
quilt. If we have to special order your thread, we will contact you and
there will be an additional charge. There will be a thread charge of $ 1.00 per
double bobbin.
PRICES
Prices are figured by the square inch (length X width X price

Please add $ 25.00. If you
find yourself in a rush to have your quilt back much sooner we'll do our best to
rush it through and get it out as soon as possible; however, there will be a

Here are a couple of pictures of the latest quilt on the frame that I'm working on for a man in the Coast Guard.

Barbara's blowing leaves quilt - quilted with overall wind swirls.
I wish you could have seen this lavender quilt in person -- belongs to a very nice lady in Arizona. Close up of Dresden Plate sashing, also from Arizona
This is the back of a wonderful patriotic quilt from some ladies in Japan. The eagle is quilted on a blue triangle, while the star with streamers is on the rest of the block Outside stars in the border are free-motion quilting. It will be auctioned off in March with the proceeds to be donated to a community charity. Thank you Carman for allowing me to be a part of your project.
Vicky's BIG Churn Dash -- Left, an overall look. Right, one of the white blocks. Below, the outside corner.
This is the back of Judy's embroidered quilt. Even though these pictures are not the best (because of my lack of camera expertise) they give you a good idea of the design on her quilt
As a result of the plain solid colored backing and the quilting, this quilt is reversible.
This is the front and back of Bonnie's quilt. Bonnie is from Clayton, NM.
This is a special quilt I made for a long time friend, Jeese, to give to his 93 year old mother for Christmas, 2011. I quilted rosebuds in the outside border and Grandma's cabbage roses and rosebuds overall in the center. I entitled this one "A Walk in the Meadow" and hope that it will be something special for Ruth to keep her warm.
A note from Jesse: ...Cheryl, I'm indebted to you. The quilt you made for Mom is more beautiful than I ever could have imagined. I am just very, very happy to know the beautiful piece of art you created for her has truly been enjoyed by her during the past week of very chilly weather and has brightened up her room greatly. Again, thank you for all of her help.
This is the front and back of a bright, colorful quilt Jennifer U. made for her daughter. The outer border has butterflies, so; with that in mind, we quilted butterflies overall to add to it's charm.
Thank you for choosing
